Much awaited 5G is now rolling out in India

The much awaited 5G services are now going to be a reality as the Information Technology minister annouces 5G rollout and asks all service providers to get prepared for its launch and also make infrastuctural modifications  accordingly.

PM Modi already mentioned in his I-Day speech about the rollout 5G services inthe country.  PM also said that the 5G speeds will be 10X faster than 4G speeds in the country. Ahead of the official release, telecom operators are actively looking to hire engineers for developing 5G-related products.

All network providers such as Airtel, Jio, Vi are expected to roll out the first phase of their 5G services later this month, with the official release due later this year. The telecom operators haven’t revealed any specific details of the 5G launch timeline in India.
